SUPPLIES LISTING
CM1001 - "Explore Painting-Acylics" - No supplies required. We furnish
the brushes and paint for use during this exploratory session. The
supplies are returned to the instructor at the end of this session. You
would then purchase supplies for use in further instruction.
CM1002 - Group Painting Instruction-Acrylics
General Supplies for both Oils and Acrylics
Brushes (for Acrylics) -- contact instructor for list of oil brushes
Robert Simmons, "Sienna", SN60 Series Size 00 thru 16)
Loew Cornell #798, Flat Glaze, 1 inch
Project to paint - will be available from instructor - $5.00 -$7.00 cost
(If you prefer to paint your project on paper, please discuss
with instructor in advance)
Soft paper towels - Bounty or very soft brand
Baby Wipes - "Cloth Like" (Target has good ones)
Small bottle rubbing alcohol
Murphy's Oil Soap
Small jar to hold water (to dip brushes in)
Small "needle-nose" plastic bottle (1-3)

FolkArt Acrylic Paints (Artists Pigments and non-pigments)
Folk Art Blending Jel - #867
FolkArt Floating Medium - #868
Oils Course - Waterbased
Winsor & Newton Artisan - water mixable oil colour starter set
(contains 6 colors) (available at Michaels & Hobby Lobby)
*Please do not buy non-water mixable paints, as the mediums used
are different - and are not used in the beginning instruction. You
can convert to those later, after you have practiced the basics.
You will also need FolkArt acrylics for base coating (do not buy the
artist pigments as they take longer to dry)
If you wish to paint in non water-based oils, your instructor will
provide you with a list (please email us).
