To commission a portrait of your pet, contact me using
our "Contact Us" page (on line), or email
info@paintedgift.com. Tell me what size portrait you
would like and what kind of pet. Also let me know when
it is needed (I usually need 4-6 weeks to complete the
portrait). I will need a photograph of your pet. The
portrait will be developed from this photo. The
composition of the photo will be important -- so having
several photos is helpful. I can then help determine
which photo would make the best oil portrait. If you
mail prints of your photos, they will be returned with the
completed portrait. You may email photos of your pet
(please use high resolution).
I will work from only one chosen photo. A 50% non-
refundable deposit is required once I accept your
commission, before work begins. I will then email you
a sketch for your approval, and will then begin the oil
painting. I will also email you a copy of the portrait
when it is partially complete - to see if there are any
changes you would like to request. I will then email you
a digital copy of the finished portrait for approval, and
upon remittance of the remaining balance (plus
professional packing and shipping charges), I will ship
the portrait. Payment may be made by check or Pay
Pal.
Prices - One pet (each extra pet in the same portrait is $60
additional).
